MEETINGS

Fellowship and Teamwork

mission & vision

Service First

We meet every second and fourth Tuesday of the month, (Except for July), at 6:15 PM. Our meetings are normally held at the Elizabethtown Fire Department on Mount Joy Street, but sometimes are held at other nearby venues as needed.

At each meeting we share dinner and fellowship, conduct club business, and get to learn something new from an educational and entertaining speaker, with different topics at each meeting. We usually conclude by about 8PM.

If you are interested in experiencing a meeting to see what it's like, we encourage you to join us, and your first visit is on us! There is no charge to first time visitors to come meet us, and the meal alone is well worth it!

Once you've had a chance to meet us and get to know more, we encourage you to join us as a member and be part of our mission to serve those in need. As a special incentive, we even discount your membership dues by 50% for the remainder of the Lion year that you decide to join! (Our year runs from July through June).

Serving our community and the world

Directions to the Elizabethtown Fire Department:

The Elizabethtown Lions Club is an autonomous organization but is a part of a much larger body, Lions International.

Our Club was founded in 1941 by a small group of individuals who wanted to make our community a better place to live. More specifically, the goal was to help the less fortunate in whatever ways help was needed.

Since that time the Club has grown in membership but our purpose has not changed: we exist to provide service to people both here in our own community and, through Lions International to needy individuals around the world.

Through the years the Elizabethtown Lions Club has enriched our town and countless individual residents in ways too numerous to list but we continue to carry out the motto of Lions: We Serve!
