CELEBRATING 80 YEARS OF SERVICE
For 80 years, the Elizabethtown Lions Club has devoted its energy to passionately serving the greater Elizabethtown area and through the power of Lions International, the world.
We place a special emphasis on providing vision services locally to those who cannot afford it, and providing support to young people through educational and sports award programs.
We also support the Elizabethtown Community Cupboard, as well as the Elizabethtown and Rheems Fire Departments.
We meet regularly at 6:15PM on the fourth Tuesday of the month. Due to COVID-19, our meeting location is a bit variable at the moment, but for now we will be at Christ Lutheran Church on E High Street.

Projects
Each year we perform several service projects and hold fundraising activities to enable those projects.
Recently we have added a monthly award to recognize an outstanding student at the CTC.

Our Mission
Elizabethtown Area School District student Paris Harrison is the Elizabethtown Lions Club CTC Student of the Month for December. Paris is an Elizabethtown Area High School senior who is enrolled in the Lancaster County Career & Technology Center’s Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide program. Back in her sending school (EAHS), Paris has been active as a cheerleader throughout the fall season. She said that she really enjoys the hands-on learning that is a hallmark of the instruction at the CTC.
“Going to school at the Career and Technology Center is great for me because I don’t really like sitting at a desk or behind a computer for a long time. Here, the instructors teach the lessons of the day for a while and then we move to hands-on work practicing our skills for most of the day,” Paris said.
The Elizabethtown Lions Club congratulates Paris for being our December 2020 CTC Student of the Month.
